Conference unveils startup funds for Christian youths, 300 scholarships

The International Billionaire Christian Conference (IBCC) has unveiled startup funds, aimed at financing promising business ideas of Christian youths across Africa.
The founder and Convener of IBCC, Mr Olatayo Ajiboye, who disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday in Lagos.
Ajiboye said that the movement would also provide 300 scholarships in the IBBC 2024 conference as part of its revolutionary activities.
According to him, the step is a groundbreaking move that echoes the commitment to empower, inspire, and drive positive change among Christian youths with business ideas.
Announcing the second edition of its meeting with the theme: ” Power, Wealth and Technology, Ajiboye said that the 2024 conference had added attractions of the launching of startup funds.
He said that the funds was to bridge the gap between Christian youths with brilliant business ideas and capital.
“In line with the IBCC’s commitment to education and skill development, the 2024 edition is providing scholarships for over 300 participants through the esteemed allied techno-craft learning company, Skilharvest.
“This initiative seeks to equip individuals with the knowledge and expertise necessary to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of technology and entrepreneurship.
“The 2024 conference will witness the launch of a dynamic Billionaire Christian Community, managed by the prestigious International Billionaire Christian College.
“This community is envisioned as a vibrant platform for weekly/monthly mentorship and teaching sessions, featuring influential business leaders from around the world as facilitators,” he said.
According to him, the 2024 edition of the conference is fixed to hold between Jan. 26, 2024 and Jan. 27, 2024 at the Redemption Camp, in Ogun State, Nigeria.
He said that the conference promised to deliver a that the “the convergence of faith, wealth, and technology underscored the conference’s commitment to holistic empowerment.”
“Attendees can expect not only unparalleled learning opportunities and financial support but also a sustained ecosystem for growth, guidance, and collaboration,” he said.
It would be recalled that Ajiboye launched the IBCC in 2022 when he brought Christian youths together for a conference that was designed to teach them sound principles of prospering through establishing and running genuine businesses.
The movement, according to Ajiboye, followed a divine encounter he had in 2010 during which God promised him a ‘city without poverty’.
He said that this then berthed a burden to build a system that would train Christian youths on sound business principles and set them on the path to becoming financial giants.
“We want to bring a system in place for an annual conference. God wants me to dwell in a city without poverty; recruit billionaires to promote the last phase of the Gospel.
“We want to repair the things that are not being properly done,” the founder said at the launch. (NAN)
