Saleh sympathised with the people on the killings of their loved ones, while urging them to remain steadfast and not despair in the face of their bitter experiences.
He called on government to do more in protecting the lives and properties of the people by providing adequate security for all citizens.
He also appealed to the government to provide adequate compensation for the victims of the unfortunate incidents.
Receiving the items on behalf of the victims, the Paramount Ruler of Miango, Rev. Ronku Aka, commended the Baptist community for identifying with his people in their time of need.
Aka said, ” the materials donated would alleviate the suffering of the victims who had lost dear ones or had their houses burnt down.”
At the Yelwan Zangam community, Mr Gideon Atata, the National Secretary, Anaguta Development Association, appreciated the church for the show of love and prayers.
Atata also urged the government to beef up security in the area , as well as also ensure that all the victims of the crises were compensated accordingly.
He urged, ”justice should be served for those who lost lives and property.”
He prayed against the recurrence of such crises, while urging the people to remain peaceful with one another.
