NCWS condoles with Aisha Buhari on loss of step mother, photographer

The National Council of Women Societies (NCWS) on Thursday condoled with the First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Buhari, on the loss of her step mother, Maryam Ahmadu, nicknamed ‘Goggo Song’.
The council also condoled with the First Lady on the loss of her personal photographer, Mr Mohammed Ovajimo.
Mrs Laraba Shoda, National President, NCWS conveyed the condolences in a statement in Abuja.
NAN report that the news of the death of Ovajimo was announced by Suleiman Haruna, Director of Information in the Office of the First Lady, on his Facebook page.
NAN report that Mrs Buhari’s step mother had since been buried according to Islamic rites.
According to her, as a council, we pray for our mother, sister and our patron that God Almighty will console her and give her the fortitude to bear the losses.
“The deceased (photographer) was an accomplished professional with impressive skills and great human relations.
“He will be greatly missed. May his soul rest in peace,” she said. (NAN)
