Buhari mourns Ivorian Prime Minister, Bakayoko

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sadness over the passing of the Prime Minister of Cote d’Ivoire, Hamed Bakayoko.
Buhari in a condolence message released by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, in Abuja on Thursday conveyed his deepest condolences to the family of the prime minister.
He also condoled with President Alassane Ouattara, the government and people of Cote d’ Ivoire as they mourned Bakayoko.
Buhari said that the late prime minister, who was a close confidant of Ouattara, would be greatly missed in Cote d’Ivoire and West Africa at large.
He noted that Bakayoko would be fondly remembered for his deep commitment to strengthening unity and cooperation.
The president prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and comfort for his loved ones and all those mourning him. (NAN)
