The lawmaker representing Badagry Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Mr Babatunde Hunpe, has described the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Sen. Bola Tinubu as a builder.
Hunpe said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Badagry, Lagos on Wednesday.
According to him, Tinubu is the man that builds and he will still continue to build if given the opportunity to rule Nigeria.
“Many that have ruled Lagos before him did not perform like him though they did their best possible.
“Just look at his plans for Lagos; he had planned for the state future since 1999 when he became the governor and that is what we are enjoying in Lagos till now,” he said.
Hunpe said that Tinubu had made used of many non-indigene living in Lagos as commissioners and special advisers during his tenure.
“He was able to turn the state around because he put many non-indigene of Lagos in his cabinet between 1999 and 2007.
“I believe if he is given another opportunity as the president of the country, he will turn things around for good,” he said.
According to Hunpe, good things will come to Badagry and Nigeria as a whole if Tinubu becomes the president of Nigeria. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
