Niger North Senator secures second term mandate for APC

Sen. Mohammed Sani-Musa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been re-elected for Niger East at the National Assembly.
Prof. Tsado Mohammed-Shaba, the Independent Electoral Commission ( INEC) Returning Officer, declared the result on Monday in Minna.
Mohammed-Shaba said that Sani-Musa pulled 159,650 votes to defeat Alhaji Isyaku Ibrahim of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who got 125,292 votes.
He said that Mr Joshu Bawa of Labour Party scored 35, 941 votes. (NAN)www.nannews.ng
