Adamawa varsity admits 3,579 new students

Modibbo Adama University Yola has admitted 3,579 students into various programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Tukur, has said.
Tukur, who made this known during the matriculation of the students on Wednesday in Yola, warned against improper use of social media and engaging in anti social activities, including drug abuse and cultism.
He said that the institution has zero tolerance for such vices, and advised the students to face their studies with all seriousness and strive for knowledge for the good of humanity.
The vice-chancellor also enjoined them “to uphold the institutions core values of integrity, innovation, excellence, accountability, rationality, sustainability and collaboration”.
He assured the students that the university would remain steadfast in creating and sustaining conducive learning environment for them to excel.(NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
