Crisis:Sheathe your swords, APC diaspora chairman urges party stakeholders in Enugu

The APC Diaspora Chairman, Italy Chapter, Prince Chima Ibezim, has called on party leaders and stakeholders  in Enugu  to resolve the crisis rocking the party in the state.

Ibezim, also the Financial Director APC Committee of Diaspora Chairmen (CDC),made the call  in a statement on Friday in Lagos.

 

He urged  stakeholders to work toward strengthening  the party  in the state and the South-East

 

Ibezim,who described the current crisis in the chapter as unfortunate, advised all to embrace peace and not fragment the party in the state and the region.

 

 

He  implored  party members to always work and cooperate  with consistent and committed party leaders in the South-East ,to strengthen APC in the region.

He said that such leaders included  the Commissioner representing Enugu State in the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Chief Mrs. Ginika Tor, among others.

According to him, the politician has really worked tirelessly in South East and all over Nigeria, for the  emergence of the Renewed Hope administration.

Ibezim said that under President Bola Tinubu, the South-East should be more united and position itself better in order  to add more value and reap  bountifully from the present administration.

He implored the Minister of Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji, the Chairman of Progressive Governors Forum , Gov.Hope Uzodinma , and other well-meaning South-East party leaders to use their good offices to resolve the present problems in Enugu chapter.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the APC has been rocked by crisis in Enugu since party stakeholders passed  a vote-of-no confidence in the party chairman, Mr Ugochukwu Agballah.

Stakeholders had on  March 23 ,at a unification stakeholders meeting in Enugu ,said they were displeased  with the manner Agballah had been piloting the affairs of the party since assuming office.

The development has fragmented the party in the state ,dividing members into camps based on allegiance. (NAN)
