Tinubu has courageously confronted Nigeria’s challenges- Sen. Lado
President Bola Tinubu has consistently shown strong character since he assumed office in confronting the challenges of the country.
Sen. Basher Lado, who disclosed this in a birthday greeting to the President, said the challenges were those largely retarding growth and development of the country.
He said that Tinubu has displayed the style of a true leader who never fails to take hard decisions in spite of the short term hardships in order to gain a long term benefit.
“Nigerians are now beginning to see the evidence of some of these legendary decisions taken by the Jagaban who fear not to be unpopular in the face of getting dividends of democracy to reach the majority of citizens,” he said.
Lado, who represents other 108 Non-serving APC Senators, commended Tinubu for always taking the bull by the horn in taking landmark decisions since he was the Lagos State governors.
“On behalf of the 108 APC Non-Serving Senators Council, we extend our heartfelt birthday wishes to our esteemed President, leader and Colleague, Distinguished Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
“As our President, you have consistently demonstrated the ability to confront challenges head-on, inspiring us to follow your lead.
“As the Jagaban warrior, you have fearlessly led our country on the economic war, charting a path towards prosperity and growth. Under your leadership, Nigeria’s stance on the global stage is undergoing a profound strengthening.”
Lado, who is the protem chairman of the council, pledged to stand united with the President in the drive of taking Nigeria to a new height.
“As fellow members of the APC Non-Serving Senators Council, we stand united in our commitment to support you in your endeavours. Together we will continue to work tirelessly to advance the interests of our party and the Nigerian people,” he said.(NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
