Gov. Peter Mbah of Enugu State has described Easter as a time for forgiveness, love, and strengthening unity across all creeds and tribes.
In his Easter message to the people of Enugu State and the nation, Mbah expressed well wishes for a blissful celebration.
He prayed that everyone would experience the redemption power of the resurrection and reflect on the virtues of sacrifice, penitence, and moderation.
“Easter is a lesson in love and selflessness. It reminds us of our common brotherhood and humanity, and its celebration is a call to forgiveness and peaceful coexistence,” the governor stated.
Mbah urged Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for the country and reach out in love, strengthening the bonds of unity across all divides.
He emphasised that the unity would help Nigeria overcome its challenges.
The governor wished the people of Enugu State and all Nigerians a very happy Easter celebration. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
