Nigeria‘ll overcome its challenges – Cleric
By Philip Yatai
Rev. Musa Tiyaknet of Evangelical Church Winning All Worship Centre, Unguwan Tasu, Kaduna, has expressed hope that Nigeria will overcome its current challenges.
Tiyaknet, the lead pastor of the church, stated this during his Easter sermon in Kaduna on Sunday.
Reading from Ephesians 1:19-20, the cleric said that the death of Jesus Christ has given people the power to overcome all challenges.
He added that the resurrection of Christ also gives hope and confidence for a better future, noting that Nigerians may be facing socio-economic and social challenges, “things will get better eventually.”
According to him, the resurrection power of Jesus Christ brings life to those who believe.
“Jesus Christ gave his life not for one person but for the whole of humanity.
“Today we celebrate His victory over the cross and we celebrate Him because He has risen.
“As humans, we must face challenges in life, but the resurrection of Jesus Christ is a transformative force that will change our lives and give us the power to overcome every challenge,” he said.
Tiyaknet added that Nigerians have every reason to thank God because Jesus has carried all the burden of humanity, and preaches love, forgiveness and compassion for one another.
He urged Nigerians to remain hopeful for a better future and continue to pray for leaders at all levels to lead with love and fairness and justice. (NAN)
