We lost a father, national stability symbol in Buhari – RTEAN

The Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Executive National President of RTEAN, Dr Musa Maitakobi, in a condolence message on Wednesday in Abuja, described Buhari as “a pillar of leadership and accountability”.
According to him, with the death of Buhari, Nigeria has lost a father figure and a symbol of national stability.
Maitakobi said Buhari, during his lifetime, dedicated himself to the peace, unity, and progress of Nigeria, adding that, his contributions will remain evergreen in the hearts of the people.
” RTEAN deeply mourns the loss of a revered statesman, patriot, and leader, whose legacy of discipline, integrity, and national service left a lasting mark on the country.”
“May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, reward his good deeds, and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus,” he said.
Maitakobi extended heartfelt condolences to the Buhari’s family, the Katsina state, the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and all citizens during the moment of national mourning.
He called on members of RTEAN across the 774 local governments of the federation and other Nigerians to pray for Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and admit him in Jannatul Firdausi. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
