Afrobeats stars Ayra Starr, others to perform at Afro Nation Festival in Dominican Republic

Nigerian Afrobeats superstars Ayra Starr, Shallipopi and Ruger have been scheduled to perform at the Afro Nation Festival scheduled to hold in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic from Nov. 7 to Nov. 9.
According to the organisers, the Grammy-nominated Nigerian superstar Ayra Starr will be headlining the music fiesta, alongside American rapper, Sexy Redd and South African hitmaking star, DJ Maphorisa.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Afro Nation is a three-day annual music festival founded in 2019 by The Malachite Group to unite the African diaspora through music, dance, food and fashion.
The festival showcases African and international artists across genres such as Afrobeats, Amapiano, RnB, Hip Hop, Dancehall and more.
The annual fiesta, which featured Burna Boy, Wizkid, Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj, held in Ghana, Puerto Rico, Miami and Detroit, is evolving into a global platform for African talent. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
