President Bola Tinubu has extended warm birthday wishes to Sen. Ahmed Wadada (APC Nasarawa-West), praising his legislative accomplishments and commitment to national service.
The tribute was conveyed in a statement issued by Presidential spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, on Wednesday in Abuja.
Tinubu lauded Wadada’s exemplary qualities as a public servant and traditional titleholder.
He stated that the Senator has exemplified humility, loyalty, dedication, and philanthropy in his service to Nigeria.
Onanuga said, ”I warmly congratulate you on your birthday today, Oct. 15.”
The president acknowledged Wadada’s leadership as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Accounts, commending his drive for fiscal integrity.
He said, “As Senator representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Accounts (SPAC), you have brought to bear your passion for transparency, accountability, fiscal discipline, and advancing impactful legislation that speaks to the future of our great country.”
Tinubu said that Wadada’s short time in the Senate had already marked him as a standout performer in the National Assembly.
Onanuga said, “In just two years in the Senate, you have distinguished yourself in lawmaking, Representation and oversight as one of the bright minds of the legislature.”
He further described the senator as a mentor and example for future leaders.
”You are team player, and a role model for the younger generation of leaders who seek inspiration and mentorship in selfless service and commitment to the common good,”Onanuga added.
The president extended congratulations to Wadada’s family, friends, associates, and constituents in Nasarawa West on the joyous occasion.
