The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has confirmed its board members following a successful screening exercise at the National Assembly.
The NCC Head of Public Affairs, Mrs Nnenna Ukoha, said the Senate Committee on Communications confirmed Idris Olorunnimbe, representing South-West, as Chairman of the board.
Maryam Bayi representing North-East, Sen. Ramoni Mustafa for South-West, and Ikechukwu Ugwuegede for South-East were confirmed as commissioners of the NCC board.
“Other members of the board confirmed by the Senate are Princess Emiko, representing South-South and Christopher Okorie for South-South,” she said.
She said that the board chairman and commissioners joined the Executive Vice-Chairman, Dr Aminu Maida (North-West), Abraham Oshadami, Executive Commissioner, Technical Services, (North-Central).
“They also join the Executive Commissioner, Stakeholder Management, Rimini Makama (North-Central), who had been previously confirmed, on the board. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
