President Bola Tinubu on Thursday swore in two new ministers, Dr Bernard Doro from Plateau and Dr Kingsley Udeh (SAN) from Enugu State.

‎The brief swearing-in ceremony was held at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja, shortly before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, attended by all cabinet members.

‎Tinubu urged the newly appointed ministers to bring their wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of their duties, stressing the importance of efficiency and service delivery.

‎The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Doro, a pharmacist and lawyer, replaces Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, who now serves as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

‎Udeh fills the vacancy created by the resignation of former Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology, Uche Nnaji, who resigned recently following controversies surrounding his academic credentials.

‎Udeh previously served as the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Enugu State before his appointment as minister.

‎The two new ministers were earlier screened and cleared by the Senate. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
