The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) says it will take stock of its activities for 2025 to enable it plan for the new year.
Tony Nezianya, Public Relations Officer (PRO), Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday that the review will hold at its Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled to hold on Monday in Abuja.
Nezianya said the meeting would be held in line with the provisions of the committee’s constitution.
According to him, the AGM will provide a platform for stakeholders to review the committee’s programmes and assess its performance over the 2024 and 2025 periods.
“The agenda will include the presentation of audited financial accounts as well as the President’s annual reports for the years under review,” Nezianya said.
He noted that attendance at the meeting was mandatory for all Olympic and recognised non-Olympic sports federations.
“Those expected at the AGM include members of the NOC Executive Committee, representatives of national sports federations, International Federation board members and officials of the National Sports Commission,” he added. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
