A Kaduna-based strategic development firm, GCSLC LTD/GTE, has unveiled a bold industrial roadmap aimed at transforming Nigeria’s underutilised federal assets into a globally competitive, export-driven bio-economy capable of generating over $1 billion annually.

The initiative was projected to create over 100,000 sustainable jobs, for youths and women and it would also serve as a stabilising economic and security buffer for the North-West region.

The initiative was formally presented in an open letter addressed to President Bola Tinubu and Gov. Uba Sani of Kaduna State.

Speaking on the letter, Dr Jaafaru Sa’ad, Galadiman Ruwan Zazzau, Executive Leader of GCSLC, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Zaria on Sunday said the blueprint aligned with Nigeria’s Roadmap 2050 for economic sovereignty.

Sa’ad said the blueprint outlined what the firm described as a “National Asset and Biological Resources Fusion.”

He said the proposal targeted long-neglected federal biological and industrial institutions which currently drain public finances instead of driving growth.

According to him, Kaduna State has been identified as the epicentre of the proposed biological industrial revolution, owing to its strategic location, existing institutions and human capital.

“The assets are already in place. What is required is a strategic reset that converts them from budgetary pipelines into industrial engines,” he said.

Sa’ad explained that the blueprint was anchored on a 3R Framework ‘Reset, Restructure and Revitalise’; designed to shift affected institutions from an institute-based orientation to commercially viable, export-focused industrial complexes.

“The ‘Green Gold’ strategy integrates biological resources, industrial processing and global markets into a single value chain capable of repositioning Nigeria as a bio-industrial powerhouse,” the letter read.

The firm expressed readiness to engage both the Federal Government and the Kaduna State Government on the proprietary industrial roadmap, describing it as a timely intervention to unlock Nigeria’s hidden industrial potential.

Observers say the proposal align with the Federal Government’s renewed focus on non-oil exports, value addition and private-sector-led growth, while reinforcing Kaduna’s ambition to remain a leading sub-national industrial hub.

GCSLC urged the two leaders to seize what it described as a “monumental opportunity” to secure Nigeria’s economic future and accelerate inclusive development through strategic industrial transformation. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
