Lafia, Jan. 30, 2025 (NAN) A group, the Youth Frontiers for Renewed Hope has declared support for the reelection of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
The group expressed the support during a courtesy call to Dr Labaran Magaji, the Nasarawa State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu on Friday in Lafia.
Speaking at the visit, the Chairman of the group, Mr Abdulhamid Aliyu, lauded President Tinubu’s administration for reforms that positively impacted Nigerians, particularly the youths.
Aliyu said that the administration`s economic and educational reforms, infrastructural development and social interventions, had earned the group’s confidence and conviction to support his second-term re-election.
He described the establishment of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) by the Tinubu`s administration, as a significant boost to Nigerian youths’ access to education.
He said the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) under President Tinubu’s administration increased support to vulnerable households, enabling them to fund their small businesses and improve their living standards.
The chairman said the group had mapped out a plan for President Tinubu’s reelection, including grassroots mobilisation for voter cards and NIN registration, as well as highlighting the APC government’s achievements.
The chairman said that the visit was also to strengthen partnership with the office of the Nasarawa coordinator to ensure the reelection of the president to enable him consolidate on his achievements.
Responding, Magaji assured the group of close collaboration with youth groups to implement the Renewed Hope Projects and secure President Tinubu’s victory in Nasarawa.
Magaji, who is also the Secretary to the Nasarawa Government, said that the administration of Governor Sule had created an enabling business environment to attract investors in the state to shore up its development, particularly in the solid minerals sector.
He said the move would complement the government’s efforts in creating jobs for the teeming unemployed youths.
According to him, the state government has employed more than 11, 000 youth into the state civil service in the last two years.
“We had an executive order that spelt out clearly that any investor coming to do business in Nasarawa State, especially in the area of solid minerals must establish a processing factory so that our teeming youths can benefit” he said
