APC rejects ADC claims over e-registration
E-registration

Abuja, Feb. 2, 2026 (NAN) The All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied allegations by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) that it pressured civil servants to participate in its ongoing electronic registration exercise.
In a statement on Monday in Abuja, APC National Publicity Secretary, Mr Felix Morka, described the allegation as false, baseless and deliberately misleading.
Morka said the claim sought to undermine what he called the party’s “cutting-edge and path-breaking digitisation” of its membership register.
“That claim is entirely false and baseless, and seeks to cast a shadow over the digitisation of our party’s membership register,” he said.
He accused the ADC of running a disinformation campaign, including fabricating and circulating a fake APC membership slip linked to a notorious terrorist.
Morka said millions of Nigerians had registered voluntarily, inspired by the visible gains and impact of the :Renewed Hope Agenda’.
He said the surge in participation compelled the party to extend the e-registration deadline from Jan. 31 to Feb. 8.
According to him, the ADC was intimidated by the “phenomenal success” of the exercise and resorted to spreading falsehoods.
“While the ADC continues to fumble and peddle lies, our great party remains focused on its onward march,” Morka said. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
