Queen of City Boy Support Group, a female support group for President Bola Tinubu, has appointed Alhaji Ali Dalori, All Progressives Congress (APC) Deputy National Chairman (North), as its Patron.
The decoration for Dalori’s appointment took place at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.
The group is the female arm of support organisations promoting Tinubu’s second term in office.
In his acceptance speech, Dalori thanked the leadership and members for finding him worthy of the honour.
“I want to welcome you all to the National Secretariat, particularly to my office as the Deputy National Chairman (North).
“I sincerely thank you for recognising me as patron of the Queen of City Boy,” he said.
He described the appointment as both an honour and a privilege and pledged to work closely with the group to achieve its objectives.
“I wholeheartedly accept this honour. Beyond accepting it, I assure you that I will work together with you to ensure we achieve our common goals.
“Where there are challenges, we will find solutions and provide the necessary support to strengthen your structure,” Dalori stated.
The APC chieftain said he was impressed by the calibre of individuals present and expressed confidence that the Queen of City Boy Support Group would distinguish itself positively.
“Thank you for selecting me as your patron. I assure you that I will work beyond expectations in supporting your vision,” he added.
Earlier, Juliet Obiaeli, the National Coordinator of the Queen of City Boy Support Group, said the group was deeply honoured by Dalori’s acceptance.
“On behalf of the entire Queen of City Boy Support Group, we are extremely honoured by the opportunity you have given us today. Identifying and honouring you as one of our patrons is more of an honour to us than to you,” she said.
She reaffirmed the group’s commitment to promoting the ideals and vision of APC under the leadership of President Tinubu, driven by the patronage of Dalori.
Obiaeli said the group would actively participate in the re-election activities of President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.
She expressed optimism that the president’s achievements in security, the economy and other sectors would smooth his path to re-election and prayed for the party’s continued success. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
