Earl Osaro Onaiwu, an Edo State governorship aspirant has submitted his nomination form at the party’s headquarters in Abuja.
Onaiwu disclosed this after submitting the form on Friday in a statement signed by him.
“I, Onaiwu, buoyed by the support garnered, am hopeful that my bid for the governorship position in Edo State will be successful.
“As I hand in my nomination form, I am optimistic I will emerge victorious in the upcoming primary election.
“The next crucial steps for me is the screening process, which has been scheduled to take place on Monday, Jan. 29 in Abuja,” he said
On his chances of success in the governorship race, Onaiwu said “with influential figures lending their support and the people of the state behind me, I will present a formidable challenge to my competitors.” (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
