Atty made this known on Wednesday in Abuja while addressing journalists on key foreign policy issues and economic cooperation between the two countries.
He emphasised that strong collaboration between Egypt and Nigeria could yield significant progress, not just for both nations but for the entire continent.
According to him, the partnership will contribute to the prosperity of Africa and support the implementation of Agenda 2063, the continent’s long-term development blueprint.
“One in the north called Egypt, in the west called Nigeria and in the south called South Africa.
“So, we can work closely together to coordinate measures driven for the benefits, stability and prosperity of the African continent and the African people.
He commended Nigeria for creating a conducive environment that had supported the implementation of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He also conveyed President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi’s appreciation to Nigeria for endorsing Egypt’s Dr Khaled el-Anani, the African Union candidate, for the position of Director-General of UNESCO.
El-Anani, a former Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, aims to represent the interests of Nigeria and all African countries in UNESCO’s three key focus areas. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
