The 2025 Annual Convention of the Intellectual Elite Youth Association of Nigeria (IEYAN) has commenced in Abuja, with focus on advancing President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision.

Presiding over the opening ceremony on Wednesday, the National President of IEYAN, Mr Azeez Balogun, said this year’s convention centres on youth empowerment, skills development and economic transformation.

“These are the core pillars of IEYAN’s mission to drive national progress through innovation and collaboration, while complementing President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda,” Balogun said.

He noted that the convention aims to address pressing national challenges, including youth unemployment and economic hardship, through actionable strategies aligned with the Federal Government’s policy direction.

Balogun reaffirmed IEYAN’s commitment to creating practical opportunities for young Nigerians particularly artisans, innovators and entrepreneurs by fostering partnerships with industry leaders, investors and government agencies.

“Our goal is to equip Nigerian youth with the skills, knowledge and platforms they need to thrive in a rapidly changing economy,” he added.

He further urged participants to leverage the convention’s sessions to build networks, exchange ideas and take bold steps toward shaping a prosperous and inclusive economic future for the country. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
