Use festive season for deep thought, lawmaker tasks Nigerians

The Minority Leader, House of Representatives, Rep. Kingsley Chinda, on Sunday, urged Nigerians to use the yuletide season as a period for sober reflection as well as joy sharing.

Chinda gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Sunday.

He described the yuletide season as a time for assessment of preceding months, with the aim of making future amendments in a bid to make good progress.

The minority leader also added that the yuletide period is a time for love , sharing and caring for one another.

“While we thank God for the opportunity to celebrate another Christmas, we should see it as a season for sharing and showing love to ourselves.

“A time to review our activities of the last one year, and what we have added or given back to society,” he said

Chinda reiterated that the yuletide is a time for personal assessment, adding that it is a time to add value to the community as well as neighbors.

He wished all well meaning Nigerians an eventful and happy Christmas in advance. (NAN)
