ADC, viable alternative to rescue Nigeria from challenges- Chieftain

Akure, Jan. 28, 2026 (NAN) Comrade Oluwatoyin Ayenj, a Chieftain of African Democratic Party (ADC) in Ondo State, says the party aims to rescue the country from its challenges.
Ayeni, the state ADC Coordinator on Electoral Matters and INEC Liason, stated this at the inauguration of the party’s executive members in Ward 9, Akure South Local Government Area of the state.
He said the country’s challenges, though surmountable, required leaders with willing hearts to bring the longing desires of Nigerians into fruition.
“We will bring back the glory of Nigeria. The crowd here, even at this ward executive inauguration, shows that people are waiting and looking unto ADC for a rescue mission.
“ADC will make Nigeria better. We will take care of Nigerians, ensure equity and fair treatment among Nigerians and execute good governance.
“It is the electorate that determines who wins and ADC is a viable alternative for Nigerians. As you can see, ADC has become a threat to other political parties,” he said.
According to him, ADC aims to moblise for its landslide victory in the 2027 general elections.
Also, the newly inaugurated Ward 9 Chairman, Akure South Local Government Area, Mr Akinsola Owolanke, promised to deliver for the party in the ward in subsequent elections.
Owolanke said it was obvious that Nigerians had embraced ADC as their platform to elect their leaders, asking other executive members to be loyal and dedicated to the party.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Mr Bamikole Ojo declared his interest to contest as member of state House of Assembly in 2027.
Ojo also donated N1 million for the secretariat of the party in the local government area. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
