ARCO Worldwide Services Limited, an indigenous technology company, focused on the security of oil and gas infrastructure and other critical sectors, has emerged as Nigeria’s first authorised DJI Enterprise (drone technology provider) reseller.
The emergence marks a major milestone partnership with the world’s leading civilian drone technology provider.
The partnership positions the firm as a central hub for standardised drone adoption in Nigeria, providing direct access to DJI’s advanced Matrice and Mavic enterprise drone series designed for security, infrastructure monitoring and precision mapping.
The Managing Director of firm Okosubide Mozimo, said in a statement on Tuesday that through collaborations, organisations across the public and private sectors would deploy drones for critical operations.
These, he included as border surveillance, protection of oil and gas pipelines against theft and vandalism, and high-precision mapping for construction and agriculture.
Mozimo described the partnership as a defining moment for both the company and the Nigerian drone ecosystem.
“This partnership with DJI Enterprise marks a defining milestone for our company and for the Nigerian drone ecosystem as a whole.
“We are proud to lead and set the precedent for a rapidly growing economy,” he said.
ARCO Worldwide with ISO 9001:2015 certified is a subsidiary of ARCO Group Plc., and one of the few indigenous drone companies in Nigeria licensed by both the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority and the Office of the National Security Adviser.
He said the dual certification, combined with its new role as an authorised DJI reseller, ensured that drone deployments met strict regulatory and security standards in Nigeria.
The Chief Operating Officer of the company, Ann Temidara, said the partnership would eliminate risks associated with the procurement of unverified drone equipment.
“When an agency buys from us, they are not just getting a box, they are getting manufacturer warranties, certified maintenance, and the assurance that their equipment is genuine and compliant with Nigerian law,” she said.
Also speaking, the Business Development Executive of the company, David Ofoluwa, said securing the partnership followed a rigorous vetting process.
“Being the first DJI Enterprise partner in Nigeria is the result of a focused effort to streamline access to world-class drone technology in a compliant and supported way,” he said.
