Rev. Charles Ehanire has urged Christians to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the incredible gift bestowed upon them through Christ, recognising His love as a treasure far beyond superficial human comprehension.
Ehanire, General Overseer and Founder of God’s Love Divine Favor Ministry Worldwide, made the call in his Easter message on Monday in Abuja.
The U.S.-based pastor said the profound sacrifices made by Jesus Christ on behalf of humanity extended far beyond the limited understanding people often held, especially as Christians reflected during the Easter season.
“When we reflect upon His life, crucifixion and resurrection, we begin to uncover the depth and magnitude of what He truly endured for all humanity across generations.
“It is essential to recognise that His selfless acts were not merely historical events, but powerful demonstrations of love, mercy and redemption that continue to resonate through time for all people.
“Jesus exemplified unparalleled compassion in His mission, willingly facing immense suffering for the sake of our salvation, embracing His purpose with unwavering resolve in spite of profound trials during His journey on earth.”
Ehanire said the implications of Christ’s sacrifice reached into every aspect of Christian life, inviting all to experience grace and forgiveness in ways they might not fully grasp.
