Princess Hauwa Tanimu-Aduda has pledged to support the Business Women of Influence–Renewed Hope Agenda (BWI-RHA) in empowering women and creating job opportunities.

Aduda made the pledge when a delegation of BWI-RHA, led by its Director of Media and Publicity, Evelyn Onyilo, paid her a courtesy visit in Abuja.

During the visit, the organisation formally installed Aduda and her husband, Sen. Tanimu Aduda, as its FCT Matron and Patron, respectively.

The group said the appointments recognised the Aduda family’s commitment to leadership, service and community development.

Aduda assured the delegation of her cooperation and support for the organisation’s programmes, particularly initiatives focused on women’s empowerment and economic opportunities.

She expressed appreciation for the visit and the confidence reposed in her and her husband, adding that she would convey the group’s messages of solidarity and goodwill to her husband.

Earlier, Onyilo expressed appreciation to the couple for receiving the delegation and identifying with the organisation’s vision.

The FCT Coordinator, Ziyak Yakubu, also thanked the couple for their hospitality and expressed the group’s expectation of a fruitful relationship with the Aduda family.

Yakubu said the organisation looked forward to benefiting from the guidance and experience of its new Matron and Patron as it pursued women’s empowerment, leadership development, entrepreneurship and sustainable development.

The visit also provided an opportunity for BWI-RHA to present its vision and reaffirm its commitment to promoting women’s participation in leadership, entrepreneurship and nation-building. (NAN)
