Members of the Forum of All Progressives Congress (APC) Past Youth Leaders have commended National Youth Leader, Mr Dayo Isreal, for deepening youth engagement at the grassroots ahead of 2027 general elections.
This is contained in a statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Prince Koyoyo, APC Zonal Youth Leader, South-South and its Secretary, Joseph Mwadiyale, APC Zonal Youth Leader, North-East issued on Wednesday in Abuja.
It noted that Isreal had strengthened structures across the states and advanced the mobilisation of young Nigerians behind President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
It said the National Youth Leader had demonstrated uncommon dedication, strategic clarity and results-driven leadership in serving the APC, including promoting the aspirations of Nigerian youths.
“Under his watch, the youth wing has grown in cohesion, visibility, and capacity,” it said.
The group acknowledged his open-door leadership policy, describing it as critical to galvanising efforts to secure victory for the APC in the elections.
“We recognise his consistent loyalty to the party, his accessibility to the youth leadership at all levels and his commitment to building a united, purposeful, and election ready youth platform.
“His efforts have inspired confidence and have positioned the APC youth to play a decisive role in the victory of the party and all its candidates in the 2027 general elections,” it stated.
The forum, comprising the APC Deputy National Youth Leader and Deputy State Youth Leaders from the 36 states and FCT, met virtually on Monday and passed a vote of confidence in the party’s National Youth Leader.
Consequently, the group pledged full support and cooperation in mobilising Nigerian youths to secure victory for President Bola Tinubu and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
“We commit to working with him (National Youth Leader) to consolidate the gains already recorded and to expand the reach and effectiveness of the youth wing nationwide.
“This resolution is binding on all members of the Forum and reflects our collective will,” it said.
In a similar development, the Zonal Youth Leaders of the geopolitical zones and Senatorial Youth Leaders of the party also endorsed the national Leader for creating enabling environment for the discharge of their duties.
They commended the National Youth Leader for distributing campaign mobilisation vehicles to selected youth leaders across the country, saying the initiative would encourage the beneficiaries to intensify their efforts.
The leaders said the provision of the vehicles would boost the morale of youth leaders and facilitate their movement and mobilisation activities across the country.(NAN)
