Dr Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), has admonished Christians to totally embrace holiness, describing it as the shield against sin and their enemies.
Olukoya gave the charge during a three-day deliverance programme, themed: “Prayer, Deliverance and Glory,” held at the MFM Miracle City in Gwagwalada, Abuja, on Saturday.
The cleric said spiritual growth and divine protection are only sustainable when a believer lives a life devoid of “ladders of sin,” such as pride, unbelief, rebellion, backsliding, adultery, and lukewarmness.
”Every sinner is effectively waging war against God. There is an urgent need for individuals to free themselves from the shackles of sin, because the moment true repentance occurs, the hold of the enemy is broken,” Olukoya said.
The General Overseer noted that God’s mechanism for delivering His people from death includes divine healing, the power of His word, mercy, and favour.
He stressed that divine favour has the potency to “turn seasons of sorrow into joy.”
Also speaking, Pastor Folakemi Otor, noted that the visit of the General Overseer to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) was aimed at bringing “raw deliverance” and liberation to the land.
Otor, who spoke on the impact of the programme, highlighted a special session focused on men, titled: “Raw Deliverance for Men,” noting that men hold the priesthood of the home.
”When men are liberated, the entire society feels the impact. The home will feel it, the church will feel it, and the nation itself will feel the transformation.
”Men are the pillars; once they take their rightful position on earth by shedding the nature of sin and iniquity, the nation will be blessed,” she said.
The cleric added that the three-day event, which commenced on Friday, March 14, served as a “deliverance clinic” to rescue souls from spiritual captivity.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the programme is scheduled to conclude on Sunday, with an Anointing Service for “Fresh Glory” at the MFM International Headquarters Annex in Wuye, Abuja.
The event has recorded a large turnout of worshippers from across the FCT and neighboring states, with many participants testifying to spiritual breakthroughs and physical healings. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
