The Cross River State chapter of a youth-based organisation, Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) has distributed support items to a Muslim community in ‘Nasarawa’, Calabar to mark the Eid-el-Fitr.
The group joined residents for prayers and festivities on Friday, identifying with the community at the end of the Ramadan fast and promoting unity and shared values.
Mrs Anjor Obande, the state coordinator of RTIFN, disclosed this in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday.
Obande said the outreach reflected the group’s commitment to inclusivity, community support, and strengthening social bonds across religious and cultural divides in the state.
She noted that the initiative also aligned with efforts to support the administrations of President Bola Tinubu and Gov. Bassey Otu of Cross River in advancing development.
The group expressed appreciation to its Founder-in-Chief, Seyi Tinubu, for his continued support and encouragement towards grassroots engagement across communities.
RTIFN reiterated its call on citizens to support the Tinubu administration, expressing confidence in the government’s efforts to steer the country towards progress and stability.
The event was attended by the Sarkin of Nasarawa community, Alhaji Sani Gombe, alongside residents who participated in prayers and celebrations.
Gombe commended the group for the gesture, describing it as a demonstration of brotherhood, solidarity, and commitment to community development.
He also offered prayers for the RTIFN leadership and expressed support for the government at both state and national levels.
The event brought together members of the community in the spirit of Ramadan, fostering unity and shared purpose among participants. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
