Ms. Patience Ofure-Key, a former presidential aspirant of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) has congratulated the newly inaugurated national leadership of the party.

In a statement on Thursday in Abuja, Ofure-Key described the inauguration of the new executives as a “defining moment” for the party’s political trajectory.

Ofure-Key congratulated the new leadership team, headed by Dr Hakeem Baba-Ahmed as National Chairman.

She emphasised that the transition should not be viewed as merely ceremonial but as a strategic rebuilding phase.

“This moment is not only a celebration of leadership, but a call to duty, sacrifice, and visionary service.

“The PRP remains a party of ideology and conscience, and I believe this new leadership has a historic opportunity to restore confidence and project the party as a credible platform for national transformation,” Ofure-Key said.

The former presidential aspirant specifically lauded the outgoing National Chairman, Mallam Falalu Bello, for his steadfastness and his role in facilitating a smooth transition to capable hands.

She noted that Bello’s commitment to the party’s stability during his tenure was a testament to his character and love for PRP.

Ofure-Key, who also serves as the President, Nigerians in Diaspora Chamber of Commerce, utilised the occasion to invite Nigerians seeking accountable governance to align with PRP.

“Nigeria needs a platform built on conscience, justice, and the dignity of the people.

“If we truly want to move Nigeria forward, we must be intentional in supporting and building the right platform,” Ofure-Key said.

She expressed optimism that the Baba-Ahmed-led executive would prioritise internal discipline, grassroots expansion, and the inclusion of more women and youths to ensure PRP becomes a formidable alternative in Nigeria’s political landscape.

Other inaugurated officials of the party according to her are National Secretary, Mr Sunday Kanu, National Organising Secretary, Mr Nanven Mamdam, National Treasurer, Dr Abdullahi Bawayo and National Financial Secretary, Mr Patrick Chuka.

Some others are National Deputy Chairman (North), Mr Haruna Buhari, Vice Chairman (Southwest), Comrade Wolimoh Olajide and National Public Secretary, Mr Bello Ishaq.

The party also inaugurated the National Legal Adviser, Vincent Danladi and National Youth Leader, Mr Ozu Important.(NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
