The Alumni Association of the National Institute, Lagos (AANI), has paid tribute to the late President Muhammadu Buhari, describing him as an outstanding national figure.

AANI Publicity Secretary, Mr Tunde Ajibulu, said in a statement on Tuesday in Lokoja that Buhari was committed to democracy, stability, and national progress.

Ajibulu praised the late President’s courageous leadership, his relentless fight against corruption, and his determination to improve the lives of ordinary Nigerians.

He noted that his legacy would continue to guide the country in its ongoing pursuit of national development and unity.

He extended heartfelt condolences to Buhari’s family, friends, and all Nigerians, praying for his peaceful and eternal rest.

Ajibulu hailed his vision for a more prosperous Nigeria and his efforts to strengthen national institutions for future generations.

He added that the association believed Buhari’s memory would serve as a beacon, inspiring others to serve with integrity, commitment, and patriotism.

“As the nation mourns its former leader, AANI Lagos bids farewell to a man who left a lasting imprint on Nigeria’s history,” he said. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
