President Bola Tinubu has condoled with a former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Chief Uche Nnaji, over the death of his mother, Mrs Monica Nnaji.

A statement issued on Tuesday by Nnaji’s Special Adviser, Administration, Dr Robert Ngwu, said the president’s condolence message was issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga.

Tinubu expressed sympathy with Nnaji, his siblings and family, describing the deceased as a woman of strength, discipline and sacrifice.

“Her life was devoted to raising children with enduring values which reflected in their contributions to society.

“Mrs Nnaji lived a fulfilled and exemplary life marked by hard work, moral guidance and commitment to family.

“Her legacy is evident in the character and achievements of her children,” he remarked.

The president urged the family to take solace in the deceased’s positive impact and prayed for her peaceful repose and divine comfort for the family.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the message has drawn attention in Enugu State and beyond, highlighting the relationship between the president and the former minister.

The gesture underscores Nnaji’s contributions to national development, especially in science, technology and innovation.

NAN also reports that tributes have continued pouring in across the country, describing the late matriarch of Nnaji family as a pillar of strength whose values shaped generations.(NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
