The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned Israel’s current ground operation in Lebanon, saying it “further deepens instability in the region.”
In a statement issued on Monday, the Turkish government said that the Israeli government was implementing “policies of genocide and collective punishment” in Lebanon.
It said that this could lead to a new humanitarian disaster in the region.
Türkiye reaffirmed its solidarity with Lebanon in the face of attacks, which it said violated its sovereignty and territorial integrity.(NAN/AA)(nannews.ng)
