A healthcare professional and philanthropist, Dr Anthony Aduro, has called on Nigerians to re-elect President Bola Tinubu in 2027 to continue with the progressive reforms that are positively impacting on Nigeria.

Aduro made the call during a media parley on Monday in Abuja.

He described Tinubu as “a visionary reformer whose leadership foundation deserves consolidation.”

The U.S.-based healthcare expert, who is also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aduro Foundation, commended the president’s courage in implementing bold economic and institutional reforms.

“President Tinubu has shown courage in tackling inherited challenges.

“We must allow him the time and mandate to consolidate on the foundation he has laid,” he said.

The healthcare expert highlighted key areas where continuity is crucial, namely: healthcare, education, economic stability, digital innovation and security.

According to him, Tinubu’s ‘reform-driven approach’ is already repositioning the nation for long-term growth.

He praised the president’s healthcare initiatives, student loan scheme and economic stabilisation efforts, such as floating the naira to find its actual value.

Aduro described the policies and reforms as “bold steps every serious nation must take to unlock prosperity.”

He also lauded the creation of the National Forest Guards of Nigeria, calling it “a smart fusion of environmental protection and internal security.

“Building a great economy requires short-term sacrifice for long-term gain.

“I see in Tinubu a leader ready to take those hard but necessary decisions,” he said.

Aduro, who disclosed that his foundation had impacted lives across Nigeria through education, clean water and youth empowerment projects, said that his endorsement of Tinubu was not political, but patriotic.

“President Tinubu’s vision aligns with what many of us in the diaspora and philanthropy believe in a Nigeria that works for everyone,” he said.

The healthcare expert called on citizens to remain steadfast, and view Tinubu’s re-election as a national investment in stability, innovation and growth.

“Let us finish what we started. Let us build on this Renewed Hope,” he said. (NAN)
