Chevron Nig. Ltd. has donated two ambulances to Yobe state government as part of the organisation’s Corporate Social Responsibilities.

This is contained in a statement signed by Alhaji Mamman Mohammed, Director-General Press and Media Affairs to  Gov. Mai Mala Buni, in Damaturu on Thursday.

Mohammed said the vehicles were presented to Buni by Dr Muhammad Gana, the State Commissioner for Health and Human Services in Damaturu.

He said the commissioner assured the governor that the ambulances would be deployed to the Maternal and Child Referral Centre at the State University Teaching Hospital, Damaturu.

The aide said Buni commended Chevron for the support, which would complement his administration’s agenda of improving healthcare service delivery in the state.

“He charged the hospital to make good use of the ambulances for the purposes intended with a good maintenance culture,” Mohammed said.(NAN)(www.nannews .ng)
