An All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain, High Chief Francis Nwobi, has pledged to lead a grassroots-intensive `Family to Family’ e-registration of party members in Awgu Ward Ii, Agwu Local Government of Enugu State.

Nwobi, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Fontana Group of Companies, made the pledge during flag off of the party’s e-registration at the ward.

Addressing party members at the occasion, the APC chieftain promised to mobilise families with the ward registration agents in order to ensure a massive enrolment of members.

While reassuring of his solidarity with party leadership, he noted that his active involvement in politics was rooted in the exemplary leadership and developmental strides of Gov.  Peter Mbah of Enugu State.

Also speaking at the event, the CEO of Blessed Destiny Oil Ltd., Chief Gilbert Onuoha and President, Nigeria Union South Africa, Prince Smart Nwobi, encouraged party members in the ward to come out en masse to participate in the registration.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the event was brought together by key stakeholders, party executives, the ward councillor and numerous party faithful, including the Coordinator of APC e-registration in the state.

The event marked a significant milestone in the party’s digital membership drive within the local government area.(NAN)(www.nannanews.ng)
