Mr Bolaji Tunji, Special Assistant on Strategic Communications and Media Relations to the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has described news of his resignation as fake.
In a telephone chat with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Tuesday, Tunji said that Adelabu was focused on delivering on his mandate as the Minister of Power.
He was responding to a social media report suggesting that the minister has resigned his appointment in pursuit of his political ambition in Oyo State.
NAN reports that Adelabu was appointed Minister of Power by President Bola Tinubu in August 2023, officially assuming office on Aug. 21, 2023.(NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
