Gala Times, a new global event technology and media platform, has inaugurated a free-to-use digital ecosystem designed to connect event organisers, businesses, creators and audiences across international markets.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the platform, developed by Azariah Management Group (AMG), was inaugurated on Saturday in Abuja.
The platform integrates event management, online ticketing, advertising, networking, digital publishing, podcasts, news and lifestyle content.
The Founder, Chiffon Watkins, said the initiative was designed to make event technology accessible while creating opportunities for businesses, organisers and individuals.
According to him, Gala Times goes beyond conventional ticketing services by providing an integrated environment for planning, promoting, discovering and managing events.
He said the platform supports different categories of activities, including conferences, concerts, exhibitions, festivals, weddings, corporate meetings, sporting events and cultural celebrations.
Watkins added that transaction-processing charges and fees for optional commercial services might apply where relevant.
He said “Gala Mate is designed to facilitate social discovery and interaction through messaging, voice notes, event-location sharing, digital business cards and ticket gifting.
“The feature would enable users to establish personal and professional relationships beyond event attendance, encouraging continued engagement among participants.
“The ecosystem also includes Gala Times Podcast, News and Magazine, which will cover entrepreneurship, leadership, technology, fashion, entertainment, culture, sports and international development.”
He said that the media platforms would feature interviews, profiles and multimedia stories highlighting influential personalities, emerging talents and development shaping different industries. (NAN)
