The North-West Chapter of APC Daga Titi Zuwa Titi (APC-DTZT), has commended Sen. AbdulAziz Yari for his contributions to human capital development across the zone.
The North-West Coordinator of the group, Jaafar Hassan, in a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja, praised Yari’s developmental interventions in the zone.
Hassan said that Yari’s educational scholarship programme currently supports 2,055 indigent students drawn from all the North-West states, describing it as a transformative private educational intervention.
He said that the initiative had expanded access to higher education for thousands of youths, while demonstrating an uncommon commitment to regional development beyond political affiliations and boundaries.
Hassan said that although Yari represented Zamfara-West Senatorial District, beneficiaries of his educational and humanitarian interventions were spread across the entire zone.
He added that beyond the scholarship programme, Yari had also implemented several humanitarian and empowerment initiatives which positively impacted communities without seeking political recognition or publicity.
“Many of our brothers and sisters across North-West Nigeria have benefitted directly from Sen. AbdulAziz Yari’s generosity. His decision speaks volumes about leadership.
“Extending the scholarship programme beyond Zamfara reflects magnanimity, compassion and a genuine commitment to the progress and development of the North-West region.
“At a time many young people struggle to access education and opportunities, Sen. Yari chose to invest in their future through selfless interventions.
“These initiatives complement President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda because government cannot do everything alone in delivering inclusive development and shared national prosperity.” Hassan said.
According to him, when leaders deploy personal resources and influence to uplift others, they strengthen the president’s vision and restore hope to countless families.
He said that the senator’s investments in education, humanitarian support and community development had transformed lives, encouraging other leaders to emulate his selfless example.
The coordinator urged political leaders, public office holders and well-meaning Nigerians to complement government efforts by investing in education, youth development and community empowerment.
He said that sustainable national development required stronger collaboration among government, elected representatives and patriotic citizens willing to contribute meaningfully toward improving the welfare of Nigerians.
Hassan reaffirmed the group’s support for Tinubu’s administration, expressing confidence that partnerships with committed leaders like Yari would accelerate development and expand opportunities across Nigeria.(NAN)
