Dr Oyesola Oworu, the Founder and Group Managing Director of DASformation, says the organisation will officially launch its technology-enabled business service platform on Dec. 8 to simplify business operations and promote entrepreneurship in Nigeria.
Oworu disclosed this at the organisation’s pre-launch vendor and stakeholder engagement on Friday in Abuja.
He said the platform was designed as a one-stop shop for business development, providing entrepreneurs with access to services required to establish, operate and grow their businesses without having to engage multiple service providers.
According to him, DASformation seeks to address challenges associated with access to business services, high operational costs and limited opportunities for business expansion.
He explained that the platform would also facilitate international expansion by enabling businesses registered in Nigeria to explore company registration opportunities in other countries.
“We are solving the problem of access to business services and cost.
“We are also addressing the challenge of global expansion because, through DASformation, businesses in Nigeria can be registered in other countries,” he said.
The founder said the initiative would create economic opportunities for vendors, service providers, government and entrepreneurs through an interconnected business development ecosystem.
He explained that vendors would earn income by providing professional services, while entrepreneurs would benefit from access to services at more affordable rates.
“For government, as the business is developed, built and running, there will be taxes paid to government.
“It is an economic development ecosystem where businesses are being formed, taxes are paid to government and vendors are paid for the services they provide,” he said.
Earlier, Ruth Okotie, Technical Assistant at DASformation, demonstrated how the platform operates, explaining its features and how different categories of users could access its services.
She said the platform’s homepage provided access to information packages, additional services, resources and contact details, as well as registration and login portals for service users, vendors, administrators and advisers.
Okotie identified some of its features to include business name availability searches, branding and identity services, domain name searches and different business formation packages.
She explained that the formation packages were designed to accommodate businesses at different stages of development and according to their specific needs.
According to her, the platform also provides a wide range of services covering business registration, payment and tax registration, branding and design, web development, digital services, mail and communication, human resources and employment.
Also speaking, Adaeze Onu, Legal Advisor, said the platform would improve vendors’ visibility and connect them with prospective clients beyond Nigeria.
Onu explained that the platform would enable professionals to concentrate on delivering quality services while DASformation provided the digital infrastructure and connected them with customers.
She said the initiative would also serve as a continuous channel for professional referrals, talent acquisition and business opportunities.
Onu encouraged vendors to leverage the platform to expand their market presence and gain wider recognition.
The engagement brought together prospective vendors and stakeholders to familiarise them with the platform, its operations and the opportunities available within its business service ecosystem.(NAN) www.nannews.ng
