Incorporated as West Africa News Agency LTD, we hold the distinction of being the first private indigenous entity established to provide a unified, independent news platform for the entire sub-continent.
WANA is not owned, influenced, funded, or affiliated with any political party, government authority, or regional bloc. Our governance, editorial decisions, and news priorities are determined exclusively by our commitment to public-interest journalism and the pursuit of truth for West Africa and its global diaspora.
