President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Sen. Abdulaziz Yari, representing Zamfara West, on his 58th birthday, calling him a great grassroots mobiliser.
Tinubu described the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council as a loyal party man and experienced administrator whose organisational capacity continues to add value to the party and Nigeria.
This is contained in a statement issued by Presidential Spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, on Monday in Abuja.
Yari served two terms as Governor of Zamfara from 2011 to 2019, during which he chaired the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, providing leadership and fostering unity among his colleagues.
Tinubu also acknowledged his role as Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, leading efforts to promote the administration’s Renewed Hope achievements and reforms ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The President commended Yari’s commitment, resilience and unwavering belief in the progressive ideals of the APC.
Tinubu prayed that Almighty Allah would grant him many more years of good health, wisdom and strength to continue serving his constituents, the party and the country. (NAN)
