Sen. Philip Gyunka, Nasarawa North Zonal Coordinator of the National Renewed Hope Ambassadors (NRHA) project, has urged Nigerians to support the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu.
Gyunka, who represented Nasarawa North Senatorial District in the eight Assembly, made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Sunday.
The All Progressives Congress chieftain said Tinubu’s re-election would ensure policy continuity, economic stability and overall national development.
The former lawmaker, who also serves as Chairman of Gov. Abdullahi Sule Campaign Council for the 2027 Nasarawa North senatorial race, urged residents of the zone to back the governor’s ambition and Tinubu’s reelection bid.
He said the achievements and transformative initiatives of the Tinubu and Sule administrations are clear indicators that the President and governor would attract more development to the district if elected.
“I can assure you that, with the level of support the governor enjoys so far, victory is assured,” he said.
Gyunka added that, as part of efforts to mobilise support, the governor recently held a two-day stakeholders’ engagement, during which the campaign council was unveiled and inaugurated.
He said campaign materials, including vehicles, were provided at the event to enhance outreach across the district.
The former lawmaker assured that the council, under his leadership, would remain committed to ensuring that Sule emerged senator for Nasarawa north senatorial district in 2027.(NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
