President Bola Tinubu on Saturday night returned to Abuja after concluding a State Visit to the Republic of Türkiye.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Presidential aircraft touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at about 8:56 p.m.

The State Visit, which began on Tuesday, featured bilateral engagements between the Nigerian leader and Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The visit culminated in the signing of nine agreements covering defence, energy, security, research and other strategic areas of cooperation.

The two leaders also reviewed shared priorities aimed at strengthening Nigeria–Türkiye relations across multiple sectors of mutual interest.

Members of the President’s delegation included ministers and senior government officials who participated in the bilateral discussions. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
