The National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Mr Eze Chukwu, says the Anambra Government has recorded notable achievements under Gov. Charles Soludo.

Chukwu gave the commendation in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday in Abuja.

He said that while politics often reshapes individuals into pretenders or opportunists, Soludo had remained consistent in character and leadership style.

“His simplicity did not change; his love for God did not change; his devotion to Igbo culture did not change.

“His belief in home-grown solutions did not change; his bluntness did not change,” he said.

According to Chukwu, the governor speaks frankly without calculating personal gains or losses, a trait he described as fearless and deserving of the title ‘Oluatuegwu’; one who fears nothing.

He noted that in an environment where emotions sometimes override reason, effectiveness could attract criticism, adding that Soludo might be one of the most performing governors in the South-East despite facing strong opposition.

“Soludo does not play politics; he plays leadership because politics seeks applause, while leadership seeks results,” he said.

Chukwu described the governor as an “unsung hero,” especially in confronting insecurity, sit-at-home disruptions, ritual-related crimes, youth criminality and economic challenges.

“He has taken hits and endured criticism, yet he continues. He embodies fearless governance, practical reform and moral conviction,” he said.

Chukwu added that Soludo deserved recognition not only as governor of Anambra but also as a symbol of courageous leadership in the South-East. (NAN) www.nannews.ng
