Dr Yusuf Yakub, the Director-General (D-G) of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), has reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to sustainable development.
Yakub made the commitment on Wednesday in a statement signed by Ojo Olubunmi, NTAC ‘s Head of information at the ongoing International Forum on Total Official Support for Sustainable Development (TOSSD) in New York, USA.
Delivering his intervention virtually, the NTAC boss highlighted Nigeria’s growing role in South-South Cooperation, particularly through the provision of Technical Assistance, Capacity Building, and Human Capital Development across partner countries.
He emphasised the need for comprehensive and inclusive reporting of all development support.
The D-G said that TOSSD offered a credible framework for capturing Nigeria’s contributions and strengthening transparency in global development financing.
He also called for enhanced collaboration among developing countries to promote shared growth and regional integration.
