Dr Kingsley Udeh, the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, has felicitated Muslim faithful in Nigeria and across the world on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.
In an Eid-el-Kabir message made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, Udeh urged Nigerians to draw inspiration from the season to promote national unity and technological advancement.
The minister extended warm felicitations to Muslims celebrating the festival.
“On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, I extend my warmest felicitations to all faithful in the celebration of this profoundly symbolic season of sacrifice, obedience, compassion and spiritual renewal,” he said.
Udeh said Nigeria was at a critical phase of its national development and urged citizens to embrace the lessons of Eid in strengthening their commitment to nation-building.
“At this critical phase of our national evolution, may the solemn lessons of Eid inspire in us a deeper commitment to unity, patriotic service, ethical leadership, technological advancement and collective progress,” he said.
The minister also expressed hope that the celebration would usher in peace, prosperity and renewed hope for Nigerians.
“May this auspicious celebration bring peace to our communities, prosperity to our nation and renewed hope to every family,” he added.(NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
